Looks like I may not be able to go to work today, either. 
I thought I could schedule a Lyft ride online, but when I tried, I got a pop-up saying:
Our website doesn't support ride bookings anymore. But it's super easy to get going with the Lyft app.
Well, my phone doesn't work, so that does not really help me. It's 5:34 a.m. by my computer clock, and I'm not going to go around to my neighbors asking if I can borrow their phones at this time of morning, and they may not have the Lyft app anyway.
I'm emailing my boss to explain, and she probably won't believe me, but God and I know I'm not lying about my phone. 
Maybe this is His way of keeping me away from the chaos of that place.

It is what it is and she may or not believe you. The place should have extra teachers on call when someone is sick.
