Our Offer Was Countered and We Accepted Their Bid

Today is the grand finale on yet, another lot. What blessed my heart, these owners live in the state of Michigan. This annihilates Michigan getting involved, with issues over state borders.
Doing a real estate transaction with someone living in another state, is hogwash. It takes forever and a day, to get a simple property title! Thankyou Michigan, for nothing.
Nope, I'm no long upset about this change of plans. We are finally going forward, which is a big relief.
Two months wasted, when we could have been hammering nails into 2X4s and securing shingles to keep out the rain! Regardless, God is Good
We will more than likely be living in a 5th wheel, for about one month. Not my idea of an ideal home, I'll just pretend like we are camping
When snow starts to fly, I'll just move into Jay's new back building

@kobesbuddy Property issues suck. We have just pulled out of buying a house when we discovered that the “owners” didn’t actually own it all!

This is terrible, selling property they don't own!

@just4him After the paperwork is signed, the title is in our hands, we can start digging the foundation. Whew! I'm thankful that I'm a woman and not those men

No, a 5th wheel is not what you want, it would be rather confining. But I am certainly glad you have that option; it beats paying yet more rent somewhere else. Plus, as soon as you get a hook-up set up for power, etc. you can always park it on your lot next to your housebuilding. That will be convenient! I am glad for you, that things are moving forward.

One month living in a 5th wheel, not the worst scenario. Not paying rent, this will save us a bundle:)

@kobesbuddy
Most definitely. Hopefully you won't be in it long and then you can move in and keep working on the house.

This is the legal action anyone goes through. Every time a person purchases property, it's the same exact ordeal. Except, we went through this twice in three months! Now, we can take step #2, heading forward.

That's great that you now have a block and can start building. I hope you enjoy 'camping' when it happens.

The paperwork will start this afternoon, signing that pile of legal documents. After this is done, things should speed up a bit. I have anxiety, but God says no more worrying! I need to walk by faith and not by sight(what I see or experience that come my way.) God is faithful, at all times!
