A new social media app called Thread

Thread is a new social media from Facebook. It seems it is an app which to challenge Twitter. I must say that Twitter has more troubles since Elon Musk took over it. I downloaded it but I am unable to try it since I can't login it. Perhaps I have to wait for some time as right now there may be more new users and the server can't handle it.

@toniganzon No matter what, Thread has a deep relationship with Meta although we know Facebook much more.

@CarolDM I know but the company name is no longer Facebook It's meta. And Threads is by Instagram not Facebook. Threads is linked to Instagram. In fact if you deactivate your threads, your instagram will be deactivated as well, but won't deactivate your Facebook. Threads and instagram are not linked.

The new thread thing is tied to your Instagram account. I read comments yesterday that people who find they don't like the new Threads cannot delete it unless they also give up their Instagram accounts. So be careful and do your research before signing up.
