It's good to know that the Moai Statues, also known as "neke neke," have been built on the Easter Island by walking without legs. Some experts had previously claimed that Rapa Nui people had used ropes to move the statues from side to side and to keep them upright. Would you want to check out these ancient sites? Well, I have read about Easter Island, but it's not a place that I would like to visit. I loved to visit Pompeii and the Alambra of Granada and some beautiful old castles.

Pompeii is a good place to visit, too. It is nice to see them up close rather than seeing their photos.

@Shavkat No, I haven't been there. We drove past Stone Henge many years ago.

It is interesting to visit them and see for yourself. But its something that you will need to visit often once seen you might not be interested in visiting them unless you are an archeologist wanting to study them.

I agree. When I was child, I used to dream to be an archaelogist. Unfortunately, my childhood dream turned to a different direction.

People have always been curious about how the figures were placed on Easter Island. I suppose we’ll never know for sure.

I agree. These scientists had just show their theories, but never know what really happened in the past. It is also the same thing with the other scientific theories.

I've read about the Statues on the Easter Island. They are amazing. It would be great to see them in person. I went to Angor Wat in Cambodia some years ago. The temple complex was built in the 12th century. The site is gorgeous.

I heard about the place. A few years back, my previous company transferred in this country. They invited me to work with them again. I am still considering it.

It would be cool to go to Easter Island, and see these in person, but I’d probably rather see Machu Picchu in Peru. The daughter of my dad’s wife went, and she thought it was one of the most amazing places she’d ever been. Which is saying something because she has traveled all over the world.
