I took a photo of these same flowers last week. Since then, they have changed colors! Hydrangea are flowers that I was informed, will do this at times. It depends upon what has been placed in the soil. I'm not real good with flowers, but I certainly do enjoy them in the yard. Last week, they were a light blue color, piped in white. And today, they are light purple, close to a shade of lilac and trimmed in white. These are beautiful flowers! This photo doesn't show the true color, though. Oh well, I tried! Photo: Mine

I like hydrangea too. I used to have several in my yard. They constantly changed to white pink or blue. My grandson lives there now and he mowed everything down. It is easier to take care of the yard.

I see one still looks blue to me, but right next to it, the other looks light purple. I had to stare a few seconds, but it’s noticeable to me. How cool is that?!

@kobesbuddy The ones that only last a day would worry me. What if I missed seeing them?

You learn something new everyday. I had no idea they changed color. It makes me want to plant some just to see that.

I wonder if they are from a starter plant or from seeds.
