Who is up to a challenge? A contractor working for the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission in the Florida Everglades came upon a python protecting a nest of 111 unhatched eggs. He removed the nest and captured big mama. Now non-contractors can take up the annual Florid Python Challenge from August 4 – 13 with cash prizes to be awarded. The link below provides more information. Just thought this might be of interest. Is there anyone brave enough to take up this challenge?

Nah, I'm not brave enough to do so. Though pythons aren't really aggressive snacks and in fact a friend of mine collects them. He has a room full of python and even breeds them.

@RasmaSandra I held snakes and played with them when I was a kid.
On one of our trips, my son had a huge python around his neck.

I'm brave enough but live too far away to join the hunt for pythons.
