Day 5 Daniel 4:19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for a time, and his thoughts troubled him. So, the king spoke, and said, “Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its interpretation trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered and said, “My lord, may the dream concern those who hate you, and its interpretation concern your enemies! 20 The tree that you saw, which grew and became strong, whose height reached to the heavens, and which could be seen by all the earth, 21 whose leaves were lovely and its fruit abundant, in which was food for all, under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and in whose branches the birds of the heaven had their home— 22 it is you, O king, who have grown and become strong; for your greatness has grown and reaches to the heavens, and your dominion to the end of the earth. 23 And inasmuch as the king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, ‘Chop down the tree and destroy it, but leave its stump and roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze in the tender grass of the field; let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let him graze with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him’; 24 this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which has come upon my lord the king: 25 They will drive you from men, your dwelling will be with the beasts of the field, and they will make you eat grass like oxen. They will wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times will pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He chooses. 26 And inasmuch as they gave the command to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom will be assured to you, after you come to know that Heaven rules. 27 Therefore, O king, let my advice be acceptable to you; break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps there may be a lengthening of your prosperity.” 28 All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 At the end of the twelve months he was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. 30 The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” 31 While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you! 32 And they will drive you from men, and your dwelling will be with the beasts of the field. They will make you eat grass like oxen, and seven times will pass over you until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He chooses.” 33 That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws. 34 At the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. 35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?” 36 At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and His ways justice. Those who walk in pride He can put down. Many people want to know what their dreams mean. They seek people who can interpret dreams or buy books about dream interpretation. King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that caused him to send for the magicians, astrologers, and soothsayers in the kingdom, but they could not tell him the interpretation of his dream. Only Daniel could give him the interpretation. When God fulfilled the dream, he blessed God and praised His name because he knew that only God could raise people up or put them down. As Christians, one of the signs of the Holy Spirit is that you will dream dreams and see visions. When you do, God will give you the interpretation. Then you will know God is at work in your life. Joel 2:28 “And it will happen afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. 32 And it will happen that whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the remnant whom the LORD calls. Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 ‘It will happen in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. 21 And it will happen that whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’ King Nebuchadnezzar wasn’t the first king to have dreams he couldn’t interpret. Joseph interpreted the dreams of the butler and baker when they were thrown into the prison where he was. Then Pharaoh also had a dream that only Joseph could interpret. Many of you have dreams that can only be interpreted with the help of the Holy Spirit. Your dreams are signs from God that He is working in your life. He will fulfill your dreams according to His purpose. Do you have dreams? Seek God’s interpretation and bless Him because He is always faithful to fulfill His purpose in your life. Let’s pray: Father, let Your will be done in my life. Let me praise You and bless Your name when You work in my life with signs and wonders only You can fulfill. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. @just4him The good, and the bad, all dream, and I think that even animals can dream, but God gives wisdom in dreams, to those with the eyes, to see it, the ears, to hear it, and the open heart to be able to see the truth being presented to them as a dream. Yes, the Holy Spirit is always available to us, to help us to know the meaning of our dreams.

@innertalks I believe animals dream too. It sure looks like it with dogs' behavior when they're sleeping. Yes, the Holy Spirit is always available to us.
