If I Won the Lottery.....

I was doing my usual wandering around on the apps on my Roku and happened onto Peacock and a documentary about the making and aftermath of the Back to the Future trilogy. Remember it? I remember really enjoying the three movies but I wasn't aware of what a fan base it had and what the aftermath was for these movies and the Delorian car. One guy constructed a nine-hole kids' golf course with each hole attributed to one of the characters of the movies. Another couple has donated their time driving around the country raising money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation. It is definitely one trilogy that doesn't suck. Far from it. As a writer, there is always that feeling of pure awe when you experience a movie or a book like this with such a great premise, storyline, characters, etc. I wish I had thought of it. Life tends to imitate art. It sure has in this instance. Take the hoverboard for instance. It is now available. And there are many out there trying to get the flying car off the ground(hee hee) too. There are several fans who have actually found Delorian cars, bought them, and restored them making time machines out of them. It would be fun to have one. If you could go back/forward in time where would you want to go? For me, I would like to go forward about 100+ years and see what has been invented and if the Earth has survived.

Well, it'd be nice to go a week ahead and get the winning lottery numbers...

I wouldn’t want to go back in time unless I could change it and I wouldn’t want to go ahead, I’d be overwhelmed, so I’ll stay where I am.

I think I only really watched the first one. If I could go back in time or time travel I think it would be back to 1970 or so.

I would like to back in time around 1970 in the former Canal Zone in Panama when life was simple then without social media bullies and programs on television that were family friendly.

I would like to go back to the 60s and 70s. It was such a great time. I would also like to undo a couple of poor choices that I made. Enjoy your day. P. S. I wouldn't want to go forward to see if man and the Earth have survived. I think not.

@celticeagle I'm kind of pessimistic when it comes to man and the Earth. I would like to see the advancements made in technology, medicine, etc.

Oh, lord. I don’t know. I’d like to see what the 1950s were like in theory, but seeing that much racism might inflame me too much with anger. Maybe the 1970s so I could befriend my late mother, and get to know her as a young adult.

I enjoyed the movies too. I find the car fascinating, but I don't know if I would want one. I've thought about going back and forth in time, but find I like it right where I am.
