Heading to the Laundry Mat Today

Of course doing laundry isn't something I can overlook. Jay likes to get two loads done every week. Since we are living in this rental house, we have to go to a laundry mat.
The one is Tawas City is OK, but they don't keep it very clean. This, we found one that's in AuGres, an equal distance in the opposite direction.
What I enjoy about going along each week, we get out of the house and socialize with other people. For quite a while I wouldn't do this. Now, it's becoming a little easier for me. I'm an introvert personality, becoming a little more sociable.
Fear has been my worst enemy, it has kept me from doing various things in this world. Coming out of my shell, has taken a lot of courage and gritting my teeth.
And little by little, my loneliness is improving. The depression is a little better, too.
So, off we go to the laundry mat, to find out who's doing their laundry on a Sunday afternoon! The owner is amazing, we really like him:)

Enjoy your time out . I never enjoy doing laundry but it has to be done or we will not have clean clothes.

We purchased brand new appliances, they are at the store. Once we get a house built, the appliances will get picked up and installed.

Are you going to have a washer and dryer in your new home? Laundromats are never that convenient are they? Nice to have a good one.
Social anxiety is what gets me down. So glad to hear your depression is improving.

I have a social anxiety disorder. Little by little, I'm getting more experience with socializing. We bought new appliances about a month ago, they are stored for us at Menards.

I'm glad you're becoming more social.
I've always been an introvert. I got out of my comfort zone when I retired and started swimming and doing other things, like rock painting. Now, I couldn't think of staying in this apartment 24/7. I need to get out and see people. Though sometimes when I'm in a writing frenzy, getting out is the least of my worries. It doesn't happen. I'm okay with that because I'm socializing with the characters in my books.

I've never been one to stay home, 24/7. This would drive me crazy! I need to get out, every day. I know a lady who never leaves her home. It's beyond me how anyone could live that way.

If you have to go to the laundry it is great to find a clean one, and bonus to find social as well. I have not had to go often in the last forty years, but I know the difference between a good one and a downer one.

Going to a laundrymat is OK. I went to one a few times when my washer was on the fritz. Glad you are making strieds with your depression.

I used to be very afraid of people, out in a public place. Even at home, any visitors I didn't know. Being shy is terrible, especially when it hinders my ability to socialize.

Good that you have a laundry mat to go to. There is none around were I live so my friend has set up a washing machine below the stairs outside and a dryer everyone can use,

I used to hate going to the laundromat. I'm a bit of an introvert too; and it's sometimes very painful for me to socialize. I'm glad you're getting out more and that your depression is better. Enjoy your day.
