Six in the morning and it feels perfect right now. It is going to be a hot one again.
Neither one of us really feels like cooking. Bob never made our burgers last night, we just snacked.
I ate a big apple and some cottage cheese. Later I had peanut butter on saltines.
The reason I was out already is that it is trash day and the trash can needed to be taken to the street.
I really want to go back to bed, I did not sleep well. Bruno disturbs us if he is in the room but if he is not he howls to be let in.
My friend Jane was without power night before last and early Sunday. Again, straight line winds were the culprit having taken out a lot of power poles.
This just seems like a really awful year.
The temperature is around 74 F right now. I wish it would stay that way.
The cats are out rolling in the driveway and enjoying it.
Yesterday on the way home from church I saw a few really nice looking horses. I was admiring a buckskin that was pastured with what I imagine is called a chestnut. The darker colored horse went to the middle of the field, looked around, and just slowly laid down to roll in the grass. It was just too hot.
Our surroundings are pretty rural. We see horses, and cattle pastured, as well as goats and sheep. Occasionally there will be donkeys/burros or llamas. I think they protect the herds.
I am glad I do not live in a heavily developed area with lots of brick and concrete. That would be very hot and miserable.

It's 71F here this morning. And yes, it feels nice outside. I wish it would stay that temp today, too. Right now we're heavily overcast but we only have a 20% chance of rain this morning.
I didn't cook last night, either. Pretty ate a bowl of oats with almond milk and a little sugar. I ate three slices of cold ham by itself and called it good. This morning I'm eating the last of the leftover spaghetti for breakfast.
Nothing happening here today. I hope you have a good one.

During the summertime, daybreak is the perfect time of the day as far as temp's are concerned. We had rain overnight so it was a bit foggy this morning and it seemed to be more humid.
I love living in the country. I lived in major cities and I don't want to do that again.

It's 21°C/70°F at 9am, and the sun is doing a valiant job of breaking through the overcast. I plan on going shopping today if I can force myself to get dressed and out the door before noon.

We live in a semi-rural area. I would hate to live in the city again. The weather this year has been crazy. Enjoy your day.
