Trying my new lap desk.

Good afternoon. I found a lap desk online with padding to supposedly support my arm and wrist while I type. So far it's working out pretty good. I just need to stop being distracted because I need to run the dish washer and clear out room in the sink for it. Chilly is being a couch creature, so that's cool, too. We might get rain but I'm not sure. George is in and out and around, too.

@RubyHawk I use a screen reader. I use keyboard commands and some gestures. So, it's easier for me to use a physical device and keyboard. And, not have to hold it.

Sounds like you found a comfortable way to do some typing. I find it easy to type and work at my desktop PC because it sits on a computer table but when I had problems at one time with the desktop and had to use the laptop for a while sitting on a plain table I had problems with the typing on a too flat surface and I also had some other issues it was great o return to my computer table, enjoy your lap desk,

Using the couch is more comfortable when I want to be around people or need to watch Chilly. So having something comfortable to type on is important.

I have a special table that fits around the footrest of my recliner and pulls right up to me. That's where my laptop is situated. A lap desk sounds like a good solution for you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
