Hypocrisy on Social Media

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that it seem that some, on social media (facebook, instagram, etc.), are a little hypocritical?
I don't understand why many Christians do not take seriously that God has called us to be different. This morning, a man that I know personally, goes to church faithfully, posts about the evil nature of celebrities and politicians, posts Bible verses- he posted a "funny" meme about sex outside marriage but putting down sex within marriage. It is not just him. So many post Bible verses then make posts touting unbiblical behavior.
This is the post I made this morning: "So, you claim to be a Christian. You post Bible verses and Christian quotes daily. Then you post nasty jokes, porno cartoons and memes, and posts glamorizing immorality and behavior that is in direct opposition to God's Word?
This, people, is the problem in our country. The pagans who act like pagans are living according to their nature. They are expected to live contrary to God's Word. But believers are called to be different. Believers have a new nature, a nature that is controlled by the Holy Spirit. Don't get angry with me. Those are God's words (II Cor. 6:17, II Cor 5:17, Gal 5:22-23, II Cor. 10:5, and many more).
I am not trying to be preachy, but it is heartbreaking to see posts of those who claim to be followers of Christ making posts that glorifies sexual immorality, demeans or belittles marriage, divides parents and kids, and embraces self-centered attitudes.
The real problem in this country is believers who don't care to act like believers. It brings heartbreak to the Father and shame to the faith.
And I am asking God to search my heart, too, and show me any place in which my life or words is contrary to His salvation and calling."
I guess maybe I am under conviction, as well. I don't want to ever dishonor my Savior. If we want to save America and our world, the only hope is Jesus. And He deserves better than our half-heart obedience and praise.

That's been the mindset of christians for 2000 yrs. Go to church, pray the prayers, sing the hymns...etc for one day, then do and say whatever the heck is in their true nature for the rest of the week without having to take any accountability for their actions because...hey...God forgives, right?
