It was not what I had planned

Most of you know I have been loading stuff into the trailer. A sofa, a twin size mattress and springs that got some water damage, the crushed pop up canopy.
Well Bob hooked the truck back up to the trailer, and decided noon today was a good time to take it all to the dump.
We are hot. We are tired. We are sweaty.
I made a quick lunch for us. We have rehydrated. And Bob is napping now. You know me. I am at the computer.
I have worked outside some. There is a big old mulberry tree that needs some limbs trimmed. Some dead wood needs taken out. I did a little of that this morning.
There is a desperate need for me to get some mowing done. I will get my minimum amount here in a little bit. Do not worry. I will work in the shade.
I am chilling down some coffee so I can have iced coffee. After I have mowed I will get a wonderful shower and be happy about it.
Also planning to get a supper ready for us for tonight. Maybe some chilled fruit in gelatin dessert. Bob really likes that.
Tomorrow I will work all day, or at any rate most of the day. It will be good to see co workers again.
Meanwhile I am puttering around here in the office. It is a good, cool place to be.

Expending energy in the heat makes me tired thinking about it. Just be sure not to overdo it and stay hydrated. Enjoy your day.

It makes me tired just thinking about your efforts. I am not a fan of working outside in the heat. I did some today though as I am trying to get my car all spiffed up. Lots of odds and ends to deal with,

It has not produced fruit for a while. That is why it needs trimmed. I would make time to use fruit if I had some growing here.

Pretty and I keep talking about mowing the front yard but we keep getting rain now... It was sprinkling this morning when she went out to mow.

It is only tough when equipment does not work right. I guess I enjoy using my muscles. It makes me feel good, powerful. In control, even when I am not.

@AmbiePam My brother is about to have neck surgery for the third time. He is in a lot of back pain but the doctor say his neck is worse. I am glad your dad is doing so well.
