Dinner and a 'show' with my sister on Monday. We went to a casual restaurant on Monday and we both had nice salads. It was warm, but not to hot, at least until the sun got under the shade. Then we weren't 'hot' so much as chancing sunbuns! But lets really start at the beginning. We joined a bunch of ladies with the 'Ladies over 50' group. They meet every Monday at this restaurant. My sister ordered the wedge salad with no blue cheese crumbles and some broiled chicken. I ordered the wedge salad with no bacon. The lady sitting with us at the table noted how bad this table was off balance. I mean really off, definitely over an inch, but not two inches. My sister and the lady were trying to figure out how to keep it from being so tipsy when I kicked off my flip flop and we shoved it under the worst leg. It still had a little rock, but otherwise it was pretty good. The salad was good. My sister also ordered a pretzel appetizer that was also good, after I chipped most of the salt off. I really don't need salt, at least that MUCH salt. Then it was time to play "Singo!" We didn't win, but we had fun. At least until I felt like my ear was going to fall off... We did the first round and then we retired for the night. Have you ever played Singo? Well, if you like music, you'd probably enjoy it. If I hadn't felt half-cooked we'd've stayed for the second game.
