Slowly snacking

Often times I find myself wanting to eat out of boredom. I am soothed by the hand to mouth process.
I have a snack that slows down the mindless stuffing of calories and it helps keep my blood sugar balanced.
I have been snacking on pistachios in the shell. It is hard to over eat them, or eat them too fast since I have to crack each one to get to the nutmeat.
I am sure there are other things that work this well. Some people chew gum for about the same reason, the desire to be eating.
Now I need to make our evening meal.

I lost two teeth due to trying to open pistachios with my teeth! That was a hard lesson! Enjoy your day.

I love pistachios. Used to eat a lot of them. Now I eat GFBs or The Gluten Free Brothers.. They are in ball form and are coconut and cashew. They are also plant-based, Gluten-free, and non-GMO. Very tasty.

I'm eating some Oreos for dessert after eating a sausage, egg and cheese croissant. Delicious!
I used to eat pistachios but got bored of eating them.

I used to eat out of boredom. I seem to be better at not eating now for some reason. I really don't want to become a huge old lady yet, if you're not doing much, the weight can pile on really quickly.
