7 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. It's still sunny, slightly warm, but the low humidity and breeze make it a wonderful day.
I always have something to be thankful for. Of the many blessings in my life, I want to mention one from yesterday. On my way to church yesterday morning, I saw, for the first time outside the movies, a military cargo plane. Why it was in Green Bay, I don't know, but it was large in the sky and making a lot of noise. I think I heard it again yesterday afternoon fly over the complex, but I didn't get out to the patio in time to see it.
Today, I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning. I got eight miles on the bike while they worked out to the longer tape.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Destination Love. I have less than a hundred pages to go before I turn it over to my proofreader. I also need to go over the chapter I worked on today, one more time. It has a POV problem I need to work on and get sorted out.
I'm thankful for getting the notifications done just now. It's always good to see what's going on in your part of the world. If governments got along as well as we do, we would have world peace.

It sounds like things are going well for you. I am thankful the worst of the storms missed us. I had tornado warnings going off on my phone, but they stayed north of here. There might be some later though.

I love that flower; it’s beautiful! Oh, lord, Valerie. I am so thankful today. My pharmacy, and EIGHT others that I called, have been out of two of my medications for five days, and without one I get very sick. Just today, a pharmacy one town over got a delivery of it. If I had missed one more day, I would have been in trouble, but once again, God came through.

I'm so glad God came through and you have your medication. God is so good at taking care of His children.
Thank you. I think it will be the only one to flower this summer. I have four, but only one grew tall enough to flower. There's one more that might. We'll see.

Glad you got work done on your book and good luck with doing more, I'm thankful that my fan keeps me cool and I wrote a lot today and just have to post tomorrow. That is a lovely flower,

I am thankful for my on the phone talk with my mental health doctor this morning receiving a small check from Publishers Clearing House for entering on their contests today.

That's a nice flower. You're right about the world. If they could get along as we do, there would be no problems. I'm thankful for the little bit of rain we got last night. We need a lot more. Enjoy your day.
