The Cats are disgusted, not going as planned

The plan was to get up, get around and mow before the heat set in. Nope. We have a bit of a thunderstorm going on. The kitties say "Mom, make it stop! It is wet." I was going to mow first, then clean up and go into Marion to renew my driver's license, and run in the store for a thing or two. I do not believe there is much rain. Just enough to make the beasts uncomfortable. I guess my latest plan is to be online until the rest of the world opens for business. At that time I will get dressed and take care of my chores in Marion. Maybe I will get to do yard work later. For breakfast I had one sausage patty and two potato pancakes or potato patties. Whatever your house calls them. The potato patties start with left over mashed potatoes. Add flour or self rising flour if you have it. Some pepper. And eggs. Stir it up to a gloppy, not runny consistency and fry on a hot griddle. I made a bunch the other day as they keep well. So it is not 6 a.m. yet, but I had best get to earning some pennies.
