I was feeling okay and then...

I've talked in the past about having fibromyalgia and migraines.
Fibro is more than a pain issue, but pain is certainly part of it. I take pain medication to help manage it. Having said that, if I can get my pain level down to a "6" I am happy. Where you might be in bed or calling your doctor, I am feeling nearly pain free. Nearly.
On the other hand, migraines are more than a headache. Migraines can be liken to being punched in the head by a sledgehammer. Normally they come on rather slowly.
Today, however, I was getting ready to do something because today is the ONLY day this week I don't have something planned for outside the house. And, as I turned to put my shoes on, I got slammed in the head with that darned sledgehammer!
I have thrown some medicine at it and am writing this while I wait to see if the head can improve. Honestly, even if it doesn't too much, I'm going to do what I need to do. I have the whole day, well 8 to 10 hours, to do those things I want to get done.
I think I can at least get things started.
How is your day going?

Besides the pain in my feet and legs, all is well. Today I have not many things to do.

I honestly didn't have anything I had to do today, which is why I decided to do the cat boxes. Last week, when I got home from my trip, I ended up doing them on Monday. I had been going to do them on Saturday, but that was the day the old AC decided to die. As it was, it was already not working very well and had been on the list of things to replace, just a little sooner than I had expected. I have to say, this new one is GREAT!

I too have fibromyalgia and migraines, and as bad as fibro is, nothing compares to a migraine. I sprayed a bug spray last month (organic, with essential oils; harmless, right), and it only took one spray for a knife to stab through one side of my head. Five days of agony ensued. I get so tired of it.
This morning, I woke up with the beginnings of a migraine, but medicine nipped it in the bud.

I have managed to do what I wanted to do. I'm going to put off collecting the rest of the trash until tomorrow. I got the hard part done, the cat boxes. There were a few times I had to sit up straight and let the on coming pain pass. This was back pain, not the migraine, I had already gotten that down to a manageable level. Still there now, but not like that hammer blow at first. I took some aspirin and waited a bit to get it down.
I'm going to see a doctor next week for the back. I've always had some back pain, but this is almost impossible to push through since that fall back on the first.

I got things started, then it started to rain... still trying to edge the front lawn.
