Day 35 Matthew 11:1 Now it happened, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. 2 When John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples 3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” 4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 the blind sees and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 Blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” Many people question what they see and hear. They doubt what their eyes and ears saw and heard and give reasons about what happened, denying the truth. Then there are those who know the truth and want confirmation about what they saw and heard. Jesus had sent His disciples throughout Israel to teach and preach the gospel, raise the dead, and cast out demons. When they left, John’s disciples came to Him with a request from John, who was imprisoned, to confirm His identity. Jesus told them to believe what their eyes and ears saw. Then said all those not offended by Him would be blessed. Before you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, you heard stories and testimonies about what others experienced because of their faith. It led you to question the person so you could know the truth. When you learned the truth, you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, and God blessed you because you believed and were not offended by the truth. In the same way, others will come to you when you talk about your life-changing experience with Jesus, and how you accepted Him as Savior and Lord. Your testimony will bring others to salvation. Jesus will bless you when you testify about what He did for you. Who have you told about your life-changing decision to follow Jesus and make Him Lord of your life? What response did you get? Did people accept what you told them, or did they turn away with doubt, denying the truth of your salvation? God will bless you when you tell others about your salvation and what Jesus did and continues to do for you. Don’t be afraid to tell others about your life-changing experience so they can have the same. Let’s pray: Father, help me share Your gospel with others and tell others how You changed my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 17 August 2023 by Valerie Routhieaux The image belongs to me.

A lot of people are afraid to that because they are afraid of getting some kind of label. I think as we grow as Christians it becomes easier to share.

I found it easier when I was a brand-new Christian. I wasn't afraid to tell anyone about Jesus. Now, I'm starting to get back to those early roots as a Christian and tell others about Jesus. Have a blessed day.

@just4him A certain amount of circumspection is required though, and we perhaps should not spruik about Jesus, on a street corner, but when the opportunity is right, then we can speak up, and do not walk away.

@innertalks It takes a special kind of person to stand on a street corner and talk about Jesus. It's not for the faint-hearted.
