Day 38
Matthew 14:13 When Jesus heard it (the death of John the Baptist), He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. When the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.
14 When Jesus went out, He saw a great multitude; and was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick.
15 At evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.”
16 Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
17 They said to Him, “We have only five loaves and two fish.”
18 He said, “Bring them to Me.”
19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.
21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
People have many unexplained things happening in their lives. Many people look for logical explanations, while others see the unexplained as mysteries or miracles. What happened to bring about the unexplained situation? How do people account for it?
Jesus wanted to be alone after the death of his cousin, John the Baptist. He went to a deserted place to commune with God, His Father. When He came out of seclusion, He saw the multitudes who followed Him, and had compassion for them and healed them. His disciples wanted Him to send them away because it was late so they could buy food. Jesus told them to give them something to eat. When He learned what food they had, He blessed the food and gave it to everyone. He fed five-thousand people plus women and children with five loaves and two fish.
As Christians, do you need a miracle in your life? Do you look at what you have and despair? Or do you pray and bless what you have, expecting God to fill your need?
Jesus blessed the food, and God gave the increase. When you pray, miracles happen. You see things happen you can’t account for except from God’s hand. You don’t need to look for a logical explanation for what happened. You know God came through for you and supplied your need. He healed you or a family member, provided you with a new job, took care of your finances so you could be a blessing to someone else, and gave you peace in the middle of chaos.
Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
God promised to give you what you need according to His riches, not yours, through faith in Jesus Christ.
You have many needs. Have you prayed and blessed God for your need?
Let’s pray: Father, You know my needs and only You can satisfy my need according to Your riches by Christ Jesus. Let my faith bless You as You supply everything I need. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Every day that my husband is alive and is here to make me happy is a miracle in my eyes. He's getting to the age where he could be gone at any moment. Have a blessed day.

God fulfils our needs when, and if we really need them. Yes, only God knows our real needs, and so can satisfy them in our lives, when we live lives of love, and faith, for him.

@innertalks Yes, He provides everything we need when He calls us to do something for Him.

@just4him Yes, if we live honestly, living from truth, our needs are obvious to us, as well as they are to God too.
And yet, when God calls us for a particular task, he will also provide what is needed for us to fulfil that task for him too, which, the particular needs needed, could appear unexpectedly to us too.
