The "BER" Months

I can't believe that in 9 days, the BER months will be here! Where did the time go? It's as if we're just celebrating 2022 and 2023, and now, we're on the verge of starting a new year. I am looking forward to next month as I will be very busy with work and I also like fall. But I have to admit that when winter hits, I would detest the weather once again and will complain about wanting today's weather.

I am also looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving in our new place. Now that I have more and easier access to fresh ingredients, I am being ambitious and would like to cook this occasion's dishes from scratch. We'll see how it goes but that will have to be for another day's post.

Those are my favorite months of all. Cooler weather cannot come fast enough for me.

I like fall, just cool enough weather for sweaters and jackets. But I think winter is too much for me.

@LadyDuck You know what they say, if it's cold you can just layer your clothes as much as you want. When it's hot, you can only take off so much clothes until it becomes illegal.

@Raine38 Same as you. I can wear hot clothing when it's cold, but when it is so hot I cannot even tolerate to go out of our home.

Ditto, I am sure that our farmers will appreciate the moisture. But too much of everything can be destructive.

I am glad that there's more of us on here that likes the colder season. My husband, for one is not a big fan as he loves summer.

Faill is my favorite time of the year. It's also making me cook more soups and have bonfires, smores, etc.
