It's RV Show Time Again / myLot

I'll be spending most of my day today at the big RV show at the NC State Fairgrounds representing the Family Campers and RVers Association. My shift today is from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. I will be partnered with another club member because K has to work. I don't expect we'll be too busy since it is the first shift and a Friday. Still, I hope we do get some interest from the folks who come by. What are your plans for this Friday?

Our camping club is asked to work the booth for the statewide organization twice a year, in February and August. K and I usually do it together on Saturday morning. This year, she has to work, so I decided to take Friday morning since that is always tough for those who have to take off work to go. I had a great time after my shift checking out the RVs on display. I posted about one I looked at that tempted me until I found one thing that made it a no.

That sounds fun, I always liked houses on wheels. I would live that way if could, even that way is expensive as all hell. There is a place here that lets you park your RV there and can stay as long as you want as in do not have to pay, as long as you help with the upkeep of the place. My friend was telling me about it , but I was like who can afford an RV?

Very cool none the less, somewhere in the mountain camp sites I guess.

Dang, I’m late! That’s what happens when you get up at 7 AM for a doctor’s appointment. Hope everything at the RV show went well, and I sure wish those photos had loaded.

We had a few interested couples. Friday morning is often a slow time at the show, so three couples showing interest is a good result.

We used to go to the RV and Boat Shows in Cleveland. I hope you got some interest today. Have a good weekend. We were going out to eat; but both of us were too tired.
