Employees Wasted Efforts

When I was still working at my previous companies, there were many co-workers who were doing their jobs to look good in front of our bosses. They were so pretentious and only cheating themselves. It happens during working hours every Friday. On this particular day, many employees usually waste their efforts because they commit a lot of mistakes, especially on Friday afternoon. The reason is that they were so eager to go home. Some of them are praying to just work from Monday to Thursday because they are more productive. They also think that a company should be open to flexible working schedules. How much of your working day is devoted to pointless tasks? How frequent are sluggish work days for you? Image Credit: static.vecteezy.com

I do not work any more and I do not remember shirking work while in harness.

That's why I love what I do. Working with special needs children, adults and their families..I feel so accomplished and satisfied at the end of the day. I have experience of corporate world for few years and I know that it can be really toxic at times.

I used to work with an international NGO before. I must say the best job ever, but need to stop working with people with disability or impairment for now.

They surely won’t get far if they don’t do their job consistently in an efficient way.

I agree. A perfect example is my former project manager. He was demoted because of playing around before.

This is one of the reasons why I quit working for shareholders. Going into a non-profit hospital is more fulfilling and everyone knows that patients come first.

I can agree more. That is also the reason why I resigned and decided to work from home.
