Disastrous frauds prowling around the world.

Recently I got a mail from a person who calls himself as the HR of Taiheiyo Cement Corporation. I took my video interview through Skype and confirmed my appointment and made me sign the contract but once I signed the contract he asked me to register with the Japan Labour Council, gave me an email id for which he asked me to create a en email id in yahoo or Hotmail. I did so send a request for registration to the email id he gave me. My appointment as a writer/editor contract said that I would be paid 4000USD per month but for registration to the Japan Labour Council, they demanded about 7000USD. I have worked for so many companies as a freelance writer but never ever I had to shell out any money. I did the job and got the money. I therefore just denied paying anything and am not thinking of the job anymore. Aren't such people called disastrous frauds? More the company I named has no email id so that I could inform them that somebody is using their name fraudulently nor does the Japan Labour Council have any email id with which I can verify the truth. Beware of such frauds. I am uploading his photographs but I doubt if you can see it.

There are so many fraudsters at work these days. I am glad you were astute enough to not go along with it. Good luck in your endeavours!

I was a victim of such scams earlier though no one asked for money but got the work done and did not pay. Now I am old enough to catch such scammers.

@RubyHawk Yes, and they are cheating youngsters. I am an experienced elderly lady and therefore could save myself.

That's true. Still there are lots of fake employers who have a design to cheat and nothing else.
