Wedding and Gender Reveal in one

Philippines
September 13, 2023 6:21am CST
I attended my cousins wedding and their gender reveal at the same time yesterday. It was a memorable and fun moment with family and relatives and friends. The Groom is my cousin and I cant believe that he will be a father in three months time. They will have a baby girl. The church ceremony is very solemn and full of wisdom from our priest. I listened intently and just yesterday I knew about what the ring symbolizes, the veil and cord too as well. The bride can't contain her emotions and she was crying every time and we understood why.The venue is very practical as well we didnt go that far because its in their house garden , yes, its a garden venue and its very elegant , if only it did not rained that day.... The food is sooo delicious , we had pumpkin soup first then some cookies and then the msin course followed. The drinks is so refreshing too After attending te wedding I realized how about me? I mean will I ever get married and have kids ? Those are just some of my musings , Fellas, how about you? What comes to mind when you hear the word Wedding ?

@RebeccasFarm Oh now I understand , that is fine , there are a lot out there who shares the same situation as you and it doesn't make you less of a person thus I admire people who still continues with their life after all the storms in their lives

@RebeccasFarm I truly enjoyed the event plus the food too !! I understand that weddings and gettingbmarried is not for everyone and its okay we have our own options in life. I myself is afraid of settling down and getting married because of the many failed marriages I have seen but in time Im not closing my door to a possibility if it happens it'll happen if not Im fine too.

@AmbiePam Very true ! I learned a lot during the ceremony at church and when the sponsors gave out their messages to the newly weds. They gave the newly weds some pieces of pointers in a married life.

Love will come unexpectedly so as the wedding. Wedding is important as far as I know since I am one it simply tightens up the relationship or bonds between partners.

@simplfred Very correct ! A lot of wisdom and advices were also shared during the speeches of the sponsors and the newly wed's parents.
