Hi there. It's 3:19AM of September 15th here in the Philippines. Today is my rest day. I just woke up at 2:00AM from my sleep of 3:30PM of September 14th. Imagine of having that long hours of sleep and I feel that I'm still lack of sleep. I just fixed my computer because I de-wired it few days ago because I need to re-locate my desktop computer as well as the desktop of my youngest son. We've change monitors too from one another. My youngest wanted my black monitor. Anyway, the purpose of this discussion is about my Sales Performance in my current workplace. Just to give you a heads up. My work is about Technical Support. We support about the hardware and software issues of our customers based on the East Coast in the United States of America. And not only that, we're assisting them to their move orders. For example, they're going to transfer from one States or City to another, however, the same Internet or TV or phone services. We're going to help still. We're also assisting them to upgrade if needed their internet, TV, and/or phone services such as internet speed plan, TV plan and adding phone services. Of course, we do help in upgrading or changing the plan, there's a sales commission for us even if I'm in the Tech Support. To make the long story short. In the team I belong. I'm the top performer in terms of Sales. I did all my best in assisting them in realizing them the importance of having the good internet speed and other services. Some customers has only 100 mbps and wanted 1 gig. In which I'm not winning them in the upgrading of speed, although sometimes. However, I'm winning them in terms adding value of their maintenance service such as realizing the importance of paying the Inside Wiring Maintenance Plan of only $15 per month than paying one-time for Technician visit of $99. So, most of my sales is in regards of Maintenance Plan. However, there's downside also. Not all customers are like that. They didn't see the importance of my assistance. Just like my customer yesterday that I've assisted her in move order (changing the due date of the move of internet service). Originally, her move order due date is on September 15. However, since she's not available, she decided to have it on September 18. However, since September 18th, due to volume of technician needed, there's no available technician for September 18th. And I only offered her the September 19th. She agreed and even thankful with my assistance. Survey came in and coming from her. She only gave me number 4 out 5. In our system, the survey grading system, when you got 4 it means still detractor. That means, you didn't gave your well performed assistance to the customer. Too sad because since September 1st, I've already got 3 detractors and 4 promoters. That makes a total of month date performance of 55.25%. Too bad, the passing is 92%. I need to bounce back to have 32 promoters more without detractors. Why? Every one detractor, you need to have 12 promoters to recover. With that having 3 detractors already, imagining how to get 32 promoters until the end of the month? My sales performance is doing well because I'm putting emphasize the importance of the products that we're selling. By the way, just to let you know, 2 my detractors were coming from the sales that I've closed. They gave me detractor survey, not because they're not happy with the upgrading of hardware and software. They gave it to me because based on their verbatim, they have no choice in upgrading because they're needing it in their work-at-home setup. Makes sense? Why? My 4 promoters are also sales that I've closed. They're happy of my suggestions to upgrade their services with us. One of them even mentioned "Great and Beyond!" My coach mentioned that in order not to get another detractor once I'm going to report again for work, while on rest days, he suggested to watch YouTube movies to make knowledgeable in communication as well as reading novels. Happy for the suggestion!

I'm glad you're doing well in Sales. I'm sorry you will have to make up for the detractors that you received. Have a good weekend.
