Which one was your favorite?
When I was preggers, that would have been what, 42 years ago?
It was General Hospital with Luke and Laura.
Then I never watched soaps again because I was busy for years.
One year though, there was one called Sunset Beach by Aaron Spelling RIP
I loved that one too with Meg and Ben.
So what were yours?
Oh oh we used to watch Dallas even way way before ..my Mama loved that. RIP
Course East Enders too in England.

My best friend in high school got me to start watching General Hospital because of an actor named Maurice Bernard, who played a character named Sonny. If you can fall in love with a fictional character, I did with him! He is still on it, and still setting hearts a flutter.
I do remember Sunset Beach, but I don’t remember Laura and Ben; I remember Meg and Ben. I must have missed Laura. I liked Cole and Caitlin too.

I used watch Guiding Light back in the day. Dallas was a good show. Never was into Dynasty that much..or Knots Landing..but used to like Falconcrest.

I used to watch a daytime soap opera named "Generations" which featured a predominantly Black cast of actors and actresses that was cancelled by the National Broadcasting Company due to law ratings.

Oh what a shame it was cancelled George..I seem to recall that...but I am not sure. I bet it was good though. I surely would have liked it.

@LadyDuck It was a great series Dark Shadows..it would be on when I would come home from school and I would have to sneak to watch it as Mama would not let me
