My brother is employed now

Hello everyone it's been days since the last time I posted a discussion after my cousins wedding I got busy with chores . You know household chores is the most important of all chores and before I log in into myLot and some of my social media accounts I made it a point that everything in the kitchen is clean and neat , like right now , I'm done with washing my niece's uniform early in the morning, done with cooking and lunch too. We had an early lunch because it's my brother's first day at work and I thank God for the blessing. He waited a year for this and finally He is employed. My mom was very excited , it's her first time seeing her youngest go to work. He now works as a company driver sending employees to work and getting them home safe. It's a part government agency and that I know it is a safe and legal company . My brother loves driving and cars , and I'm happy he get to work on what he really loves. I think its his contract signing today too so I am wishing him goodluck and congratulations !! I remember my first time getting hired too. Its a mixed emotions for me . Lotters and my readers , how about you? How did you feel when you were first hired for a job? Did you get your choice of position ? How did you react or feel?

Glad to know your brother have a satifactory job,Now global economy is falling,get employed is happy thing,congradulations.I was first employed many years ago,just excited and nervous back then.Later on,i feel ordinary to get employed.

@jefferson126 Yes it's true . Most companies here have a high standard in looking for a qualified employee for a certain position. And there's also age requirement , mostly people over 30 years old may find it hard to land a job , but it also depends on the company.

@jefferson126 Thank you very much sir! Yes you are right sir economy in all countries is not good at this time and getting a job this day is hard too but Im thankful my brother was already hired he can fend for himself and help in the family finances if he have extra.

I got my first job at 16 and stayed with that company for 40 plus years before I retired. I was excited since it was a job in retail selling.

@jstory07 Oh you were so young then , I had my first job at 23 after college graduation. I had a lot of jobs but my first was in a financial institution a lending company. Staying in one company for a long period of time says a lot about your work etiquette and style . Your company must be proud of you.

I am glad that your brother has now a job. I started to work immediately after I graduated. I left a not to my college that I wanted a job, they had a list of companies interested, I had an interview and I was hired immediately.

@LadyDuck Wow that was smooth and cool. Mostly new graduates find it hard to look for a job because of some requirements needed but its a good thing you didn't have any problem finding a job.
