Catching Up with My Fur Babies

I started to let our fur baby Oreo play with my 1-year-old Cooper last week. Oreo is three months old, and it is like a toddler who keeps on complaining. For him to stop bothering for the day, I let him go outside and play with his older brother. In the afternoon, I am planning to play with them both. It is a father's duty that needs to be carried out. How do you catch up with your pet at home?

I hope your sons are playing well with each other and you have time to join them in the afternoons. I walk by the fishie tank and ask them how they're doing and put my hand into the water so the fishies can play with my fingers...

I do like having a small aquarium with fish in it. But then, I am not good at taking good care of them. I hope they are not piranha type.

@Shavkat No, they're guppies and corydoras... I used to have two walking sharks, though. They liked to snuggle with me.

@DaddyEvil I am sure you missed hugging them. I haven't seen one though.

@RubyHawk I can imagine. Before, most of our cats and dogs were being adopted or given by close friends.

@Shavkat Yes, when I lived in the country. People dropped off their kittens and we fed them so we had many cats. They climbed trees, set on the roof and had a merry old time.

My cat is old now. All he does is sleeping in the sun on the porch. And, nearly all day

How old is your old cat? He seems so comfy sleeping on the porch. He must be clingy if awake, right?

They must be cute playing together. I bet they can catch some birds, right? I used to have whiskers, and they loved hunting birds in the yard.

@jstory07 I got it. Can people walk cats there, too? I have not seen people do here.

@Shavkat They are not allowed to chase the birds. They only go outside when we go outside.

My cat is 4 years old, I play with him when I can, but he likes more to play in the garden with the cat of my neighbors.

Dogs sure can be funny together. My dog, Sadie, sometimes acts like she doesn’t want to be petted during the day, only to wake me up at 4am to be constantly petted! If I don’t comply, she repeatedly paws at my arm until I finally pay attention to her. I love my little diva.

Pets are indeed a handful . I have this little kitten who simply wants my lap but I am finding it inconvenient

I try to walk with Rufus a couple times a week. We have a pretty good sized lot so he gets a good run along the fence as he chases Amazon drivers and UPS drivers.

I think it is a good way for them to run every day. I hope I could let my fur babies do the same thing.
