The lady came off hold, and said something about the CaT scan ordered was contrast/no contrast (that lovely dye that they either put in you by i.v. or you have to drink a gallon of the stuff)or something, and she needed to contact the Health Center and get something changed. She told me she would get back to me as soon as she could, which is fine. It's not like I have anywhere to run off to, and even if I did, I could take my phone with me. Now I'll just putter around some more and wait for her to get back to me.

I hate the dye, and I hate drinking the stuff, whichever they do for the Cat Scan. The dye makes my eyes sting, and I cough stuff up. The liquid just tastes bad.

When I was a kid, they did it by I.V., and it always made me feel like I was going to throw up. They'd have to turn off the drip until the feeling went away.
