Vaping is Dangerous

A 26 year-old mum was taken to hospital with pneumonia
She stopped smoking two years ago. She thought vaping would be much better than real cigarettes.
I wince when people say they've given up smoking and are vaping instead. I have always felt it is just as harmful.

It's no better than smoking. You're still inhaling substances directly into your lungs.

@Gilljane I remember when they first came out. I liked the smell of some of the liquids you could get, but that doesn't mean I'm dumb and don't realize you're still inhaling things into your body. And, I've never smoked, just around people who do.

I was a smoker for many years, then quit for many years, took it back up, then switched to vaping and have been doing that ever since. While nothing is better than something, I never hacked and coughed or was out of breath vaping as I ever was smoking. For whatever that's worth.

Vaping is not safe or completely risk free. It still contains chemicals and tiny particles that reach deep into the lungs.

I have heard that it is very dangerous. I stopped smoking with the aid of another very poisonous thing, a pill called Chantix. Later on theys realised that it could cause great depression. And a doctor friend of mine told me that if the person was not completly decided to stop smoking, nothing would help.
