I just had a phone call telling me that two physiotherapists will be coming to see me on 16th October. That is good because they will also identify potential risks in my home.
To get out of the front door The are three steps down from the porch.
At the back there are two steps which are easier to negotiate
It is 17C and mostly cloudy here in the UK. The clouds are clearing now though.
What is the weather like in your neck of the woods?
Do you have plans for today?

It's chilly and cloudy. We had planned to get out on Thursday...didn't go. Then on Friday...didn't go. No plans for this weekend. We are lucky. We moved to a ranch house with just 3 or 4 steps. The only major steps are to the basement; and I don't go down there. Have a good weekend.

It's 10C and completely overcast in my part of Missouri. There's a chance of storms/rain.
We're staying home... as far as I know.

Sunny here today for now.
Maybe a ramp would help you get in and out

@gilljane 18C here and drizzley, just the way I like it. With our new house I’ve been very conscious that I’m going to grow old in it and was always looking for dangerous obstacles. It was elderly people who lived here before so they have already installed grab rails at the front and back doors.
