Only at Walmart-mart.

Good evening. As you know, George and I went to Walmart today. As we entered the store, I saw a grown woman hanging off a cart, like little kids sometimes do. While another person pushed the cart. I then had to educate a war-mart employee on the difference between a Roku streaming stick and a Roku ultra. So.... that was fun. We bought a Roku streaming stick to travel with. Just in case the t.v. sucked, which it tends to. Yes, we don't got a staycation to watch t.v. but, when we're ready to go to bed, we like to unwind with a little something. And, if they close the pool, we'll need something to do. We heard they're switching the t.v.s out for smart t.v.'s but... we're not quite sure, yet. So, we'll have a backup if it's needed.

Yeah. George is so used to having an alarm clock by the bed, that we bought one to travel with, too. It has a usb port and two extra power ports for plugs.

@RubyHawk Yeah. We didn't think we did, but we decided we do. Hotels and resorts are just tired of people steeling them. In one hotel we stayed at once, they took the light bulbs .

@kaylachan You do need a travel clock when you’re used to it.

What programming can you get with a Roku streaming stick? I didn't know you could use it on any TV. Have a great day.

All it requires is a power supply and a t.v. And, there's a huge selection of channels you can get with the Roku stick. It just depends on what you're looking for. A lot of it is free, but rotates on a whim, but then you have all the classic things like Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix and so on.

@LindaOHio A little of both. It's a plug-and-play device, but you obviously need to tell it what internet to connect to.

@amitkokiladitya Okay, now that we've established that... A Roku streaming stick, is literally that. A stick you plug directly into the t.v. and a power supply. Then you have access to all the channels and things.

Walmart never ceases to provide for entertainment, that's for sure. It can sometimes be more entertaining than watching TV even. lol

@porwest That's true. One day there was a guy with two live birds riding a motorized cart. I thought my husband was kidding when he told me. I could hear the birds, but thought it was a ringtone or something.
