Perfect cup of tea

What is perfect for me may not be perfect for you. Some like it without sugar, And some just have black tea without milk. Then there are some who prefer green tea.
There are countless tea brands and we have always opted for tea that grows in Darjeeling And at t present it is the Goodricke roasted tea bags.
I like my tea hot and that which has a biscuit colour and it is the milk that decides that colour I like it sweet too. I have done away with tea cups and brought in tea mugs.
What's your choice?

I like Makaibari tea. We get them from one of our relatives who works there. Else it's Taj Mahal. I like it with milk( not too much but to get a nice colour), ginger in the morning and cardamom in the evening. But yes, without any sugar or even artificial sweetener.

I somehow do not like blends but just tea leaves or tea dust These days it is difficult to get leaf tea.

@allknowing I get one called Patel Tea. They have nice tea leaves at reasonable cost. Makaibari is a bomb on the pocket 
. This Patel brand is from Jharkhand ( my husband's native). This fellow will courier it to me. My husband is very particular about his tea and the taste . I am not a tea person or a coffee person. I drink for company

@allknowing Good that you found one. I started taking tea very late. I guess started in 2014. Till then I used to sit with my cup of bournvita or horlicks when husband made tea for himself. And I started making good tea only from Covid times . For me, brand doesn't matter. But my husband has a sensitive taste buds. No compromise with colour, favour, taste.

For us there was no count. Anything called for a cup of tea but now it is only one mug.

I like tea with milk, without sugar. I enjoy HK milk tea (black tea with evaporated milk). Earl Grey tea is also my favorite. I like to add a bit of honey into the Earl Grey tea.

@allknowing Well I believe it has to be made with boiling water (not just hottish) and brewed for just the right length of time. But as far as flavour goes I can't tell you, I can't stand it!
