Well still no plumber. He has been called out on two emergencies in the last week. My work is not an emergency. He had to fix a well pump that went down, leaving livestock without water. Yesterday he got called to a propane leak that had fumes seeping in to the home. He had to tell them to open their windows and evacuate.
So my brain feels a bit scrambled.
I did see the cardiologist. As I suspected there is no critical problem with my heart. The calcium measurement CT that got me to see him only indicates a few small plaques, nothing to be concerned about. No arrhythmia either. My stress test was fine. My blood pressure is high. That could be caused by the Ibuprofen I have been taking for pain, or by the pain itself. "We have a medicine for that."
I will wait and see how I am doing when I see my primary care in December, and will see the cardiologist in six months.
So that is a summary of my day yesterday. Now I am off to work. I will be off work tomorrow to go with Bob to a medical procedure.

That's good news that your cardiologist appointment went well and you don't have to worry about that.
Sorry that the plumber had two emergencies that kept him from your place.

I am glad your appointment with the cardiologist didn't show anything too bad.
I am sorry the plumber got calls which has held him back from being able to come and help you, but at least you know he is working and will be there to help you as soon as possible.
Praying all goes well with Bob's procedure tomorrow.

I remember a line from Terry Gilliam's 1985 film Brazil... something along the lines of "your complication had a complication"...
Never mind winning the lottery, the odds of getting a plumber to come when they say they will are just as astronomical.

Good to know that it's nothing serious and can be treated with medicine. I hope that the medicines work for you and you have better report when you meet your primary care. Take care.
