Well, so much for phone calls...

The first place I tried to call, the Social Security office, had me on hold...and I figured that I would be on hold forever and decided to call again tomorrow early. If that doesn't work, I'm going to remember to write down their web address that kept coming through in a message and use it instead. The second place I tried to call, the hearing center where I recently had a hearing test, I either couldn't get through or they couldn't hear me on their end and kept hanging up on me. Finally I got through to an answering machine and left a message. Who knows if they'll get back to me. Right now, it's lunch time, so I'll go find something for lunch, do Bible study afterward, and I may "quit" as far as chores for the day and continue again tomorrow--maybe. I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Hopefully, social security’s website has what you need the information on. As far as government sites go, theirs is more helpful than most.

When it comes to the social security office, it's better to do what you can online. Baring that, a good rule of thumb, early in the morning and early in the week can be some of the worst wait times.
