Peak Hours

I enjoy finding ways to save money wherever I can. I have gotten in the habit of running the dishwasher and washing machine late at night. I have my daughter turn the dishwasher on before she goes to bed. The later the better. It's less expensive that way. September to May the Peak hours for electrical use are from 7a. until 9p. So off-peak hours is from 9p. until 7a. weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. You can check your power bill for your area's Time of Day Plan. Every little bit helps.

@celticeagle ,electrical appliance is most consumer of electrical power,in winter,we have to use heater, which also consume lots of power. But the electrical consumption is not that much in Autumn,we use less appliance in Autumn.

Yes the same here, but somehow, it does not help if I do that..surprisingly...and every few months they are raising the rates too. Luckily, no gas bill or water bill here.

@celticeagle Good. Yeah no gas and the heat is gas but the complex pays for it..but the thing is..I do not use the heat in here as we are right up against the big water boiler and never have to turn the heat on. So the complex is saving money with our apartment.
