Aww Nuts!

It's finally completado. The camper is back from the winterizering and back on site at the storage unit. Mission accomplished, although $178 later. But hey, easy come, easy go, right?
There was only one small hiccup. I took the battery off to put it into the basement and store it for the winter, got it home and laid it where I wanted it...
Only to notice that I didn't put the nuts back on the posts. Dammit. They are sitting on the hitch on the camper and now I have to go back to get them. Oh well, what can you do, right?
At least the Cubesmart where I keep it is pretty much right down the street.

At least you caught that you didn't put the nuts back even if it's a pain to have to go back.
Love your camper!. Looks very comfortable

@porwest I'm happy that you've had a good time with the camper. It looks very comfortable and I would probably consider camping if I could have the convenience of a camper. i always picture camping roughing it with tents, etc.which doesn't appeal to me al all. Being able to dewinterize it yourself is a huge savings.

@Marilynda1225 Yeah, my tent camping days are long gone. A lot of people call this kind of camping "glamping." I don't care what it is called. It's fun and relaxing. lol

I saw it as soon as I set the battery down and I was like, "Doh!" I mean, replacing the nuts wouldn't have been difficult. But why do it if I can avoid it? lol.
We really like it and so far we've had a lot of fun with it. I hate that the season had to end, but unfortunately, that's it. Maybe April or May of next year for the next one. At least I can dewinterize it myself and don't have to pay anyone to do it.

@Tampa_girl7 You should see some of the fifth wheels. Man, they are literally HOMES. Maybe one of these days. But I'd have to upgrade the truck AND camper. About $120,000 proposition. We're luckily fine with what we have now. lol

Nice. Yeah it seems we always forget things when we fix things.

@LindaOHio I was going to take a picture of my nuts and post it, but I am sure everyone already knows what nuts look like.

It looks great. I would certainly enjoy a trip in a camper like that,

It's so easy to forget the small stuff sometimes.
