What did I think

Good day to you all. Hope you have a good one. So, a few days ago I posted about a show called Fire Country and said I would let you know how it went. I finished the first season, the only one out at this time. I mentioned the story seemed interesting and it was, and I watched the whole season so obviously it kept my interest. I also mentioned you could tell right away that it was recently made with all the PC woke BS in the show. How they must work in all the check list into movies and TV shows now. As I had said about the show only needed to fit in a few more to make it complete. They did work in some Asians as I mention they needed. They worked into the season a vegetarian not a vegan like I had predicted. They didn’t work in the sexually confused person, but they did get in a husband/husband couple. If you can get past all that being shoved down your throat the show is pretty good. They did leave us on a big cliff hanger at the end of the season. I am hoping someday I might hear about season two and can catch where the show goes from there. Just thought I would give you a little update on that. I’ll post soon about a movie I just watched. If it makes sense for the story, yes I agree put it in the show. If you are forcing the things in just to check off some list I do not agree with it.

@Bensen32 It's like we often said in the horror biz. Gore just for gore isn't the point, and if you throw it in just for gore's sake, the horror will be lost in the rest of the story.

I give you credit for being able to get past all that woke shite. I hardly can watch anything anymore because it seems to me like there's no story, only a narrative, and the purpose isn't the plot anymore. It's propaganda. Hopefully you will be able to make it through the 2nd season, but of course you know they will probably double down. lol

I agree, just give me a good story and leave out the agenda. I couldn't care less what someone looks like or what they do in their life so long as it is not hurting someone else. You don't need to try and force my acceptance of someone. I'll be honest the more someone tries to force me to accept the less accepting I become. If you ask me that is all part of the plan, to separate us. Create more divide. It's a dangerous game to fall into.

@Bensen32 The thing they miss is that MOST people feel the way you and I do, and they do more to HURT their cause than to advance it. Of course, THEY don't know that.

Because of all the PC woke stuff shoved at us constantly, we don't watch too many newer shows. They can't even make a commercial nowadays without some of that in it.

Glad I dont watch live TV so I can skip all those commercials. I have heard about how the commercials are now.
