Just watch a movie called Sicario which was released in 2015. I don’t believe I had ever heard of it till I seen it on Amazon Prime. I watched the trailer for it and thought I would give it a try. The short story of it is that an FBI Special Agent is enlisted by a government task force to bring down the leader of a powerful and brutal Mexican drug cartel. Though we have seen this kind of story many times before it seems new and fresh. It stars Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin. There are a few others in it that I believe most people will recognize from other movies. Benicio and Josh do a good job, but Emily I was not totally sold on her, though nothing too bad about her. Big warning on the rated R. It’s an action, crime, thriller movie and the violence borders on the gory at times. As you can guess there is language and a small sexual scene that might be uncomfortable for some, though there is no nudity in the scene. I didn’t notice too many mistakes on the first watch, just a few minor ones. Overall if you are into these type movies, I think you would enjoy it. If you’re not into violent crime type shows, this will not be your thing. I did find out now that there is a sequel called Sicario: Day of the Soldado that was released in 2018. I will have to try and watch that and see how that one goes. I will of course let you know what I thought about it when I watch it.
