Yes, it is finally here. Samhain is tomorrow and actually marks the end of harvest time and the beginning of the dark half of the year. This time of the year is very connected to Irish mythology. There are three other seasonal festivals: Imbolc, Bealtaine, and Lughnasa. It makes my Celtic pagan ancient blood remnants begin to bubble. I feel chills and goosebumps. I have had dreams for many years of a woman coming out of her old and rundown cottage and going to pick herbs for whatever she has to fix up. Maybe it's an elixir or a tea for some neighbor who is ailing. I don't know. But, she is intent and serious about what she is about at that time. It is her life and how she makes a living. I think that this is a dream about my past. And, on Halloween and this time of year, I feel very close to this woman and those sorts of things.
Happy Halloween to you all.
