The company named One Good Thing in the UK has been producing edible wrappers. The snack bar products being produced are for them, and nothing is to be wasted. The wrappers are made of beeswax and other non-artificial ingredients. Here is the catch: they are also waterproof. They can be evident on eatable rice paper with a beeswax wrapper. This innovative idea started three years ago. What do you think of the edible wrappers from One Good Thing? Image Credit: encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com

Well, considering that no matter who could touch the wrapping, I will not consume anyway.

This is also what I am thinking while reading the article. The hygiene part needs to be considered.

@Shavkat Knowing that not all people are clean and too many touch everything, I would never consider eating a wrapping.

I am even surprised that this is allowed, absolutely not hygienic.

Congratulations to them for trying to be sustainable, but as others have mentioned, how can you be sure they are clean, and haven't been handled?

This is a big question. Unless they are really packed into something, If they are open and not being sealed, this is what we need to be concerned about.

As Anna mentioned. Paper over that would be good. Plastic is what doesn't break down
