I am so used to social distancing that I never hug anyone since the last few years. The other day someone dropped in bringing her 18 months old cute baby I just could not hug the baby Actually these days it is safe to do that but being so used to staying away I have yet to start doing that Our cats followed that protocol as can be seen from the photo but they are more understanding. They now hug each other.

I refuse to live in fear. We only wore masks when it was required. The doctors don't even wear them here anymke.

I am not so particular but hugging is not what I would like to do yet with outsiders.

@thislittlepennyearns Shaking hands is worse as our hands always have some germs

@allknowing Why it's not any worse than shaking hands.

Did you do that even during the pandemic?

@wolfgirl569 I doubt if anyone hugged each other during the pandemic though

@allknowing Yes we did. I hugged my kids and close friends. Hugging is good for emotional well-being

They look so relaxed. They own the place . I missed hugging so much during the pandemic. Now, I am back to hugging unless someone is sick. My special needs children ( the younger ones) take those hugs as reward for being good.

Cats are unpredictable. Hugs are so reassuring and those kids must be loving you more.
