I spent this morning finishing up this piece. It is inspired by, and a tribute to the work of late drip painting icon (Paul) Jackson Pollock. It's another blended/multimedia piece. Even though one critic I know of called Pollock's work "vomit on canvas," he's inspired generations & that cannot be just dismissed. An acknowledgement of his talent and contribution to the art world should also in no way be construed as condoning some of his less than stellar choices on a personal level. I've said before I believe people should ideally be remembered more for their successes than their sins, and I still hold that view.
