Back at the hospital with George. He had his second meal of the day. I feel like a hypocrite encouraging him to eat with his right hand, his now weak, but dominate hand, when I wouldn't dare try with my own right hand. However, I don't want him to become fearful of his hand, because it's weak and shake. Over time, that will go away the more he uses it. And, eating is a good way to start. Tomorrow is the lung biopsy, wish us luck.

We won't get the results for a few days, but it is what it is. I'm just nervous going into this.

It’s good that you encourage him to use it. They’ll definitely do that in PT. So thankful he’s getting to eat now!

I agree. As of midnight, he'll be N P O for a few hours, until after his biopsy. presuming he's strong enough. So far, that's the plan.

. Did your husband have a stroke? I can only imagine what a task it would be to learn to use the opposite hand to eat.
