Wall hanging

When we shifted to Solitaire there was so much that needed completion and that space on the wall I had plans to put up a nice painting or a laminate of photos. Temporarily I just put up a tapestry there as you can see in the photo.
What was meant to be temporary seems could now be called permanent as it is 33 years since that tapestry is hanging there and I have yet to get a laminate of photos done and I see no sign of us buying a painting
Some guy was selling these tapestries and I just picked this one. Initially, it covered one of our sofas and then to fill up that space the tapestry was used.
The tapestry is there to stay
Any stories to share?

It does look good there but I wanted something different and now I think it is too late to change it

I adore tapestries..I had many of them back in the day in my various places I lived when I was a young woman..yes I usually purchased them in London from the street stalls in the markets.

This one that you see on our wall I had bought from a hawker who was going from door to door and just see it has lasted so many years.
