Good evening my dear myLot peeps. We were out most of the day. Had to go get Chris new phone. Then had a couple of errands we had to run. Then we had to go back to town to check on Rebel and go see Ryan to make sure he was ok. We got back a couple hours ago and have been watching Street Outlaws since we've been back. But I decided a little bit ago that it was getting late and and we should probably go eat. Burger King is right down the road from the hotel, so that's where we decided to go. And I had a coupon so our food was $14 something instead of the $19 something it could of been wihtout the $5 off. Chris got a bacon king meal with fries, and I got the original chicken sandwich. Which is just about the only thing I get from there. It's the long chicken sandwich for those of you who aren't up to date on the BK lingo. lol. So that's what was for dinner here. What did everyone else have tonight?

Our Burger King in town closed probably a decade ago. It's now a Mexican restaurant. We had shrimp and grits for dinner.

@thislittlepennyearns Frozen shrimp. The store I shop at doesn't have a fresh fish section. There's another store that does but it is about 25 miles from us so we don't go there unless we are in that area.

@Dena91 That makes sense. I also know that fresh shrimp isn't available everywhere. I am lucky to live where it is abundant. I'm kind of picky about my seafood too, since I worked in a tackle shop for nearly a year.

@thislittlepennyearns We live 4-5 hours from the coast of NC/SC. We use to go there and get fresh seafood and bring it home to cook. Mike is picky about his seafood too.

For the first time in years, I had Taco Beuno: a Muchaco with no beans, and chips and queso.

@thislittlepennyearns A Muchaco is really soft pita bread in taco form with refried beans, cheddar cheese, beef, tomatoes, and lettuce. I would eat Mexican food every day if it wouldn't make me huge and poor.

What is a muchaco? That sounds exciting. Lol, there is a taco place in Fort Walton, about an hour from home that has the best mexican food ive ever had in my life.

@AmbiePam I'll have to send you pictures when you get your new phone. I can get two enchiladas and chips and cheese for $5.99 and each enchilada is literally a 1/4 pound.

I made homemade mushroom soup with onion and had a side of leftovers: instant brown rice mix and dried cranberries.

I do like the original chicken sandwich. When I was a kid, it was always my favorite. For whatever reason. That stuck with me. I will usually get that or sometimes a Whopper. It just depends on my mood, I guess. For dinner I made baked chicken thighs with a salad and stuffing on the side. It was yummy.

We had them at the cafeteria for school when I was in elementary school- so they remind me of that. I cant eat the whopper. I worked at BK and for some reason the beef grosses me out- but not the chicken.

@thislittlepennyearns Come to think of it, I kinda do remember similar sandwiches in school. As for the Whopper, I never had any issue with it.
