Today I had methi spinach and chapatis

Methi is one of the form of spinaches. It is called methi saak in bengali. It is very popular in bengal. The spinach is cooked with chapatis made of flour. In the winter the spinach grows are curry is made .

@RubyHawk Methi (Fenugreek) is different. We even use Fenugreek seeds in cooking (for flavour enhancement while roasting).

Well, this is something I too like during the winters. For Methi(Fenugreek), we have smaller potatoes. It tastes even better if we have curd with it.

I like eating chapatis but where I live, it's usually served with kheema. I don't know if I get this right because I don't eat chapatis with kheema because the dish can be quite expensive. It's pure minced beef. I usually just eat my chapatis with curry or dhal.

I didn't know there were varieties of spinach. I eat chard at least once a week because ti tastes good and is healthy.

@sathviksouvik It sounds like you have mild and damp weather- chard and spinach likes that and won't go to bolt in that climate.

thanks Cheung in India there are many varieties of spinach like lal spinach palak spinach methi spinach. Each of the spinach has different tastes
