I did not want to make dinner and yesrterday I had had leftovers that Leticia gave me. And much as I liked it, I don´t like to eat the same thing 3 days on a row.
So today I cut some of the buns I bought yesterday, opened a can of smoked mussels and had buns with homemade mayo and mussels for dinner.
They were delicious. And I have some left for tomorrow.
Now I´m mylotting while I watch a CSI Miami rerun with a very young Horatio Caine as the main character.

I have watched more CSIs on reruns than when they were on at first. I have heard that Caruso has nothing to do with his character Caine and is nor a nice human being.

I don´t think I will. I have not put on any of the weight I lost last year when I was at the hospital.

@RebeccasFarm I have never put on too much weight in my life. I have 20 pounds more than the weight I had when I got married. I only wish I had the weight in the same way I had it when I was 18

Today I will give passatelli my first try. I bought a plastic meat grinder and although I´m not sure if it will gring meat, it will be fine for this or to grind nuts.

@LadyDuck I liked them very much. Now I am thinking about other ways to use my new grinder. It is a cheap one so I will not use it for meat. But I used to make small ball with ground cookies, condensed milk and ground nuts. Then then be covered either in bitter chocolate of coconut.

You must try them unless you are allergic to seafood. When taste is too strong, I start by making a dish with white rice on the side. Now, for instance, I will see if I can use the rest of the mussels in a sort of rissotto.
