Wrong number helped

I was following up about some dues that I was expecting and normally I see them in the last week of a month. I called a number and that happened to be a wrong one. They asked why I had called them when I explained they said you had dialed a wrong number but here is the right number you should contact.
That number I was given took me to the Head and that helped me a lot Payment will be forthcoming shortly.
What a relief!!

The number I had dialed had 8 instead of 3 and that took me to the person who gave me the right number.

@allknowing It's nice of him to help. Most people would be annoyed and rude with wrong number calls

@arunima25 I cannot tell you the number of times providence has come to my rescue - this is on example. Yes that person could have just said wrong number and put the phone down

In my case I had dialed 8 instead of 3 in the number I meant to dial but even that number with the 3 was not the right one They gave me the number of the Head of the Department.
